Chakra Series - Intro
The Chakra system utilizes the earth's electromagnetic field energy, moving it through the body and aura. It consists of seven major energy centers or chakras and many other minor chakras. This series will focus on the description of the seven major centers and what each does for the physical, mental and spiritual bodies.
The key to good health is a balanced energy system; the chakras are constantly passing information in the form of electromagnetic energy through the bodies via the aura. In the physical body this information is passed along through the body itself, through the cells of organs, blood, bone, tissue, nerves, and etc as it travels through each chakra.
If there is an imbalance, the information is not passed along as quickly or efficiently and sometimes is slowed so much that physical pain and illness make themselves known. Generally speaking, blockages of this sort take a long while to happen in the first place and so therefore take some time, patience and dedication to clear.
Some examples of imbalance are:
- an inability to think clearly or a faulty short term memory means that the crown chakra is weak.
- disorganization in life with time, person and/or belongings means that the third eye chakra is underactive.
- stuttering, speaking too fast, having to clear your throat often while speaking points to a weak throat chakra.
- heart skipping beats or extra beats means a weak heart chakra as well as any physical challenges with the heart itself.
- powerlessness and/or feeling vulnerable when under pressure indicates a weak solar plexus chakra.
- joyless life, listless direction in life, feelings of lost direction point to a weak sacral chakra.
- low libido, body image challenges, feelings of "no control" in life events or direction and purpose mean the base chakra is weak.
All the chakras work independently and interdependently; all chakras will be effected by the blockage or debris in one, especially if the blockage is occurring in the base chakra due to it's role as the energy gateway.
